‘midi hammock’ is a playful interactive sound and light
installation using standard midi sounds and bounce-y
loops. It is based off a giant 19’ triangular hammock. There are light sensors on the ground next to LED lights.
When one or two people get in the hammock the hammock sags and reflects the light back on the light sensors. This
triggers midi loops and synthesizers and creates a changing piece of music.
